Accommodation:

There will be offered hard floor accomodation very near to the event for 5,11€ per person (The price is caused by budget restrictions of the city of Duisburg). The exact adress will be announced as soon as possible. At least a week prior the event.

Directions:

·          Motorway junction Duisburg Nord A 59 / A 42, Exit 6 – Althamborn (part of the junction).
At the exit go left and follow the signs to „Landschaftspark Nord“, at the end of the market square/parking area go right, following the “Emscherstraße” until it passes beneath the motorway.
Follow the “Emscherstraße” for a further 500 metres until you see the parking area of „Landschaftspark Nord“ on the left side.

Competition centre:

„Hüttenmagazin“ on Febuary 28th, 3 pm, follow the signs from the parking area to
Emscherstraße 71, 47137 Duisburg

Timetable:

3 pm – opening of the competition centre

7 pm – first start

Insurance:

Each runner is responsible for his own insurance.

Special notices: 

·          Map change on the long courses.

·          Rain or ice: dobbs are recommended.

·          There is an 8 metre high rock face on the map. Courses go straight towards this rock and use its backward slope. You must not climb the rock face! An extract of this part of the map will be shown before the race.

·          Because of the iron on the territory the use of a compass is practically impossible…   …however this won't be a problem because of the structure of the territory.

·          Differing from the ISSOM Map Specification there will be two special symbols on the map. See map sample and declaration on the website.
